Iram Parvez Habeeb

Zentangle & Mandala Artist | Founder of I.Z.M.art

Iram Parvez Habeeb is a self-taught, full-time artist whose journey into the world of art began from an unexpected yet meaningful place—science. Formerly a science teacher, her transition from structured academia to expressive creativity reflects her deep-rooted passion for detail, precision, and exploration.

Drawn to the meditative beauty of zentangle art and mandalas, Iram’s practice evolved organically—from simple notebook scribbles to highly intricate pattern work. Today, her art spans a wide range of mediums, including canvas, artist-grade paper, wood, ceramic, fabric, and resin, embracing any surface that allows her patterns to come alive.

Her work is defined by complex, hand-drawn patterns, meticulous detailing, and rhythmic repetition. While the process is time-intensive, Iram describes it as deeply therapeutic, stress-relieving, and emotionally fulfilling—a quality that resonates strongly with viewers and collectors alike. Inspiration finds her everywhere: in people, cultures, environments, and lived experiences.

Iram employs a diverse range of materials—markers, paint pens, acrylics, fabric paints, and mixed media—to create one-of-a-kind artworks and functional art pieces. Each creation reflects patience, craftsmanship, and a commitment to authenticity.

She is the founder of I.Z.M.art, a boutique art venture through which her work has found a place of pride in private collections and homes. With growing recognition, her artistic journey continues to bridge mindfulness, culture, and contemporary decorative art.
